Bubblance Open Bubblance

Terms of use

Short version: Bubblance is a free tool to help you keep track of your money. It is not financial advice, it comes as it is, and you are responsible for what you do with the numbers. Be decent, and we will keep it running as well as we can.

Who we are

Bubblance is made and run by an individual developer based in Bosnia and Herzegovina. "We" and "us" in these terms means that person. You can reach us at support@bubblance.com.

Using Bubblance

You need to be at least 16 years old to make an account. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for everything done from your account. If you think someone else has got into it, change your password and tell us.

Use Bubblance for keeping your own budget, or a budget you share with people who have agreed to share it with you. Do not use it to store other people's data without their consent, to send abuse, to probe or overload the service, or for anything illegal. We can close accounts that do.

It is not financial advice

Bubblance shows you the numbers you put in and does arithmetic on them. It does not know your full financial situation and it does not give advice. Things like "Available", "Left today" and any suggestion in the app are estimates based on what you have entered. Decisions about your money, including anything with tax, credit, investments or debt, are yours, and if you need advice, get it from a qualified person.

Your data

What we store and why is explained in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms. In short: your email, your password as a hash, and the bubbles and entries you make, on servers in the EU. Nothing else. You can export everything to Excel and delete your account, along with all its data, from Settings at any time.

You keep ownership of what you enter. You give us the right to store and process it only as far as needed to run Bubblance for you.

Free, and provided as it is

Bubblance is free. We may add optional paid features or show ads in future; if we do, the app will say so clearly and you will be able to say no. Nothing you use today will start costing money without you choosing it.

We work hard to keep Bubblance accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be. It is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using Bubblance or from being unable to use it, including from bugs, downtime, lost or wrong data, or decisions you make based on what it shows. Where the law does not allow that exclusion, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, which for a free service is nothing.

Keep an export of your data if it matters to you. The Excel export in Settings takes a few seconds.

Changes and ending

We can change Bubblance, add or remove features, and change these terms. When a change matters, the app will tell you in What's new and the date at the top of this page will move. Continuing to use Bubblance after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not, delete your account; there is nothing else to cancel.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may shut Bubblance down altogether with reasonable notice, in which case we will give you time to export your data.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Bosnia and Herzegovina. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep any rights your local law gives you that cannot be waived.
